Features and Benefits

Why use TiAlN+TiN

TiAlN+TiN does all the same things as TiAlN but give two main benefits. One is the TiN adds a visual for wear plus some lubricity. Second the TiN give time for the TiAlN to oxidize from the heat as the TiN wears. This helps in applications were the tool cant generate enough heat before the coating is rubbed off. A great add on coating for all materials.

Benefits of Carbide

Carbide is the most versatile material for cutting all materials. This should be the first choice for rigid cutting. Carbide comes in many different varieties of toughness and hardness. Round tools are limited in varsity as they are extruded. Inserts come in hundreds of combinations as they are sintered and pressed.
