Why use TIN
Tin should be used in low surface foot or low heat cutting. It is a great top coating for many other coatings. It gives the best view of wear, making it an operators first choice if possible. Good for tools that taper were surface footage is low or fricion with limited heat may occur.

Carbide is the most versatile material for cutting all materials. This should be the first choice for rigid cutting. Carbide comes in many different varieties of toughness and hardness. Round tools are limited in varsity as they are extruded. Inserts come in hundreds of combinations as they are sintered and pressed.
