Why use Diamond
Amorphous Diamond coatings are ideal for high abrasion resistance. This coating works well in graphite, carbon fiber and high silicone aluminum. When to used PCD
PCD should be used when cutting abrasive materials such as carbon fiber, graphite, and high silicone aluminum. PCD can not be used on steel but can be used on some Irons. PCD is expensive but can get up to 100 times the life of carbide.
